I had the privilege to stop in Bristol, VA on my way home this week. It is the birthplace of country music and a small town in Appalachia. There is a Smithsonian-affiliated museum in the town, and a lovely hotel beside it. After being on the road for about 8 hours, I knew my limit was close to reached and I should stop.
